We have started business operations in the year 2010 and setup chain of 16 Momo retail outlets , we used to make Momos in our kitchen and supply to our own retail outlets.  We have faced difficulties in managing both retail business and backend kitchen operations . We have decided to outsource Momos instead of making them in-house . 

When we started searching for suppliers,  there were food processing companies offering machine made momos with 6-9 months shelf life and there were local small Momo joints offering handcrafted  Momos with half day shelf life. We realised Handcrafted  momos look better and tasted better than machine made Momos but shelf life was a big challenge . 

We choose to go ahead with machine made Momos due to good shelf life , but customer foot fall decreased gradually in our retail outlets due to poor taste.

During this period,  we realised there is clearly a gap between what buyer wants and what food processing companies were offering back then . 

With this understanding, we have shutdown our retail business and set up a food processing company to manufacture frozen handcrafted Momos at large scale with food safety standards to achieve shelf life of 9 months . 

So far we have been successfully handcrafting and selling over 20 lakhs pieces of Momos per month and looking forward to associate with companies who are in need of frozen handcrafted Momos
